MY FUTURE JOB

Hello everyone, today it's time to talk about what I would like to work on or what I would like to dedicate to the future. So, here we go.

Well, since I was child, I have always been attracted to art, however I thought that I would never have the opportunity to develop in that field and worse in a country where being an artist is not well regarded or well paid. However, today I think differently, and having entered a career (design) that is a bit closer to the artistic field makes me really think about wanting to dedicate myself later on when it comes to illustration, drawing or sketching. Specifically, I do not know in which area I could work (if in magazines, logos, posters, my own SME, I do not know), I only know that I want it to be where I can develop through drawing; And I also don't care how I will do it, if it is digital, traditional, in large or small formats, outside the country, etc., as long as I can express myself I think the rest does not matter to me.

However, I still think that I have as my idea of a "perfect" job and life, and that would be like me (in my 30s) drawing on my computer from my home, calm, quite tired (I imagine not sleeping for days working) but happy. Now, that's what I say today, the truth is, I don't know what will happen in the future, I'm quite insecure. But somehow I think I'm sure at least the idea of the future that I want is really what I want, I don't think that from day to morning it will make me want to be an engineer, an architect or not haha.

Well I hope you had fun reading this. See you!

THE BEST HOLIDAYS EVER

I think that one of my best vacations was when I went to Temuco and Coñaripe for a four days with my mom in February 2016. And I feel it was one of the best trips since it was all quite and relaxing. In the first place, we flew to the Araucanía airport, and I remember when we landed we had a little problem with our suitcases, I think they had been lost or they had ended up on another flight; we recovered them anyway. Then we looked for a stay, which was a little bit hard to do because we didn't know nothing about Temuco. And when finally we find (I don't remember the specific place) we went to tour the site a bit. We walked through a large park, we went to eat (in a restaurant that had very great food, it was called Premium if I'm not wrong) and we also looked for activities to do. So we met a tour guide who recommended us to visit some hot springs in Coñaripe. The idea liked us, so we decided go. We made the trip by bus, and then in a van. When we arrived, everything was very nice; there was a lot of nature (we were on a hill) and the water was great. But what I liked the most was a little walk that we took through a "forest" near the hot springs. Altought  I don't know whether to call it forest because I don't really know what it was, but it was magical. When we walked I remember it was in the afternoon and it was not so hot, there were streams and the grass was up to our knees. It was nice  and I think it was the only thing I took a picture of. After the walk we went to bathe in the hot springs and then we returned to Temuco (we stayed only for the day).

When we returned we spent the last moments of our Holidays walking around the place and buying one that another thing. And finally two days later we returned to Santiago by plane, thus ending our rest.
I know it was a trip of a few days but I had a great time, it was all very relaxing.

That's all, bye.

A PHOTOGRAPH

Hello everyone today I want to talk about my favorite photo and first of all sorry for its poor quality! But I didn't find it in better resolution. Well the thing is, it was December 2015 and I was with my family on the beach (I don't remember exactly which beach), and since my parents are quite busy and have almost no time due to work, the stay was only one day.
I remember well that it was Christmas and that it was a good time, for me they were happy days. The truth is that we don't like going into the sea, so we spent the afternoon lying on the sand and watching the waves. Our dog was also there and as he is playful he ran, jumped and barked all over the place. I dedicated myself to taking many photos in a good time and went there when I captured this moment when my mom was playing with him, and I really like it because I feel that they reflect calm and happiness on their faces in a such free place, relaxed and without worries. They are the most important thing in my life and seeing them like that gives me peace, it makes me want to go back to those days. And for last I must add that I love the way my dog posed (he is very vain haha).

And well that's it for today, Goodbye!

MUSIC

Hello everyone, today I want to talk to you a little about my musical tastes.

Well, first of all, I'm not an expert in music and I don't know much about its genres but I do know that I don't have a great preference for one. The truth is that I listen to a bit of everything. However, I feel like I tend to listen to bands and singers tied more to Rock and Pop, and, although I have no language preferences, these are generally Asian. One of these bands, which are the ones that have marked me the most in my life, are SEVENTEEN, One Ok Rock, F.T. Island and Suga Shikao (the latter is a singer) who generally listened a lot to them, not lately because of the pandemic, when I traveled by subway or bus, I really feel that their songs relax me and inspire me. However lately, I've been leaning into 70's and 80's rock music and I've been listening to quite a lot of Queen. I really don't know why, but I feel that this band really inspires me a lot, especially when I do university projects or do some drawing I dare say that maybe this is my favorite band at the moment.

Well it's all for today, bye.

MY FAVOURITE PIECE OF TECHNOLOGY

Hello again.

Well, since I was 12 years old that I am very attached to technology, in fact at that age I had my first smartphone (a Nokia if I remember correctly), and from there I do not detach myself from this small device. And nowadays, too, I spend a lot of time on the computer, it helps me a lot to do my university projects or when I want to distract myself. But, between these two, I'm not really sure which one I prefer more, because each one has a specific function for me. My computer is my essential tool so that I can do my projects in Photoshop, Illustrator etc, while with my smartphone I cannot, its functions are more limited. However, if I had to choose in order to "survive" I think I would choose my smartphone, because with this I can communicate more easily with my beloved ones, it is more portable, I can also do some university projects, and I can distract myself by watching videos on YouTube or playing games. I think it would be more useful for me.

WHY DID I CHOOSE MY CAREER?

Since I was a child I have always liked two subjects: Math and Art, so I wanted to enter a career that involved both or one of them. So I thought about Architecture, I thought it was the ideal career for me. Until, after a while, I realized it wasn't what I really liked. I'm not passionate about the design of buildings, houses or public space structures; I mean I don't want any of that in my future. So I changed my plans. After taking the PSU, I researched on careers that caught my eye, and I discovered Design. I really liked its creative approach and thought "maybe I will draw a lot here", so I decided to take that way. And, despite having been in this career for a year and a half, I must admit that it's not what I expected. Until now I don't know if it is the career that I like 100%, but I feel I'm learning things that could help me in the future. I mean, I don't know what will happen in my future and I'm not sure what to do with my life, but I feel like I'm not going astray.
