English subject

Hi! How are you? This is the last blog! And well today the topic will be about my English subject.

I have always had an English subject (from school until now). And this subject, at my university, I started in my first year, specifically in my second semester (I started with English 2) and well I never suffered with this, it was rather fun because of the activities that they have made us do and besides I learned a lot of vocabulary. I feel that so far I have had good experiences in all the English courses I have been to!

Regarding blogs, at first it seemed quite tiring to do them but over time I started to let go and it becomes easier for me, I think it is a good way to learn to write  (and better for me since it costs me a bit write and more in English) and express yourself.

Well, now about my English I don't know if I have improved so much, I feel in pronunciation I have improved a bit (it was difficult for me). However, I still find it quite difficult to listen to English audios and also speak fluently without thinking so much the words, I can knows vocabulary but when I have to speak to someone in English without having practiced anything before it is difficult!

And finally about how much I have used English lately, the truth is that not for many things. Only in slightly insignificant but frequent matters, like reading post, reading Instagram stories that are in English, or watching videos. And also in other things like sending an email to someone from another country (usually when I buy online).

Well, I hope in the future to relate a bit more with this language, so that I can further expand my vocabulary, improve my pronunciation and fluency. I know that it will help me a lot, for example when I need to look for a job or  travel to another country. So yes or yes I will try to learn even more! Probably I signing up for a course later or something like that.

That's all, I hope you do great in everything! Goodbye! :))

MY FAVORITE FOOD

Well, first I will began that I think don't have a favorite food dish, however regarding sweet foods, (in general desserts) I do. So I will talk about that today, about what is my favorite food, in this case dessert. And for this I will answer some questions:

What is my favorite dessert?

I think that among many sweet stuffs that I like, the ones that I find most difficult to stop eating and that is why they are my favorites, are the cinnamon rolls (I don't know if it's a dessert haha, but for me it is). And well just in case, this is a roll of dough with cinnamon and sugar sprinkled on layer of butter. The dough is rolled, cut into individual portions and baked. They are glazed with sugar or a cream cheese.

Why I like them?

I'm not really sure, insomuch as the first time I tried them I loved them immediately, however I think it is because of their cinnamon flavor (because I love cinnamon) and the cream they put on them.

Where do I usually eat them?

I usually eat them at Cinnabon, in my opinion there are no better cinnamon rolls than the ones they prepare there.

What kind of cinnamon rolls are there and which one do I like the most?

At least the flavors or kinds of cinnamons rolls that I know (which are mostly from Cinnabon) are of chocolate, milk jam and cinnamon, although I have also tried of lemon. And well, my favorite I think is the traditional one, I really think cinnamon overcome everything haha.

How often do I eat cinnamon rolls?

Before (last year) I used to eat them frequently, like five times a month (I'm very unhealthy), but now due to the pandemic, I haven't eaten like since the beginning of the year. I miss them so much, I hope to eat them again soon (or maybe I will make them some day haha.)

And well this was my post, I hope you have a good day! Goodbye

Changes to my study programme

Hello, today I would like to talk about some changes that could be made in my career

Well, starting with the duration and the curriculum, I think they are fine as it is,( the truth is that I don't usually think about it either), it could be, perhaps, a slight and small change to History subject, what is to join the first two courses as one (History I and History II) since, at least in my case, they passed me the same content in both subjects (literally the same).

I don't know, I feel that from my point of view it could be compacted into one course and thus occupy the space that remains in subjects of the next semester (or in new subjects, I think a one about drawing would be great). In the same way, I believe this happens in more subjects, but in my case only that occurs to me.

About infrastructure, maybe here I could consider some changes, for example, adding more work rooms and tables (in many cases these are not enough and we end up working on the floor), changes in the cafeteria too, more big, with more seats and tables.

More or less is what comes to mind, and well too, I don't know if it's asking a lot haha, but the rooms are quite cold in winter and the heaters do not heat much , they maybe could be more powerful, I think?, or shrinking the rooms could also help! haha Anyway, I think that's more personal. I don't know if it happens to more people.

And well I think that this last thing that I mentioned could count as technology, since the truth is that I haven't  walked or know much about some spaces of the university enough to consider any changes or add some technological material. So that side I think it's okay.

Well that was my opinion, I hope you have a nice day, goodbye!

POSTGRADUATE STUDIES

Hi everybody how are you? Today I would like to talk about a possible graduate degree that I would like to take in the future.

Well, I am studying design, and after my first year I realized that I liked the subject of sketching and drawing  (It is not a "subject" as such but my teachers taught me enough of it throughout the year), so I thought that I could dedicate later to study a postgraduate or master's degree related to this, so I thought illustration. I don't know if it exists a postgraduate of this in the Universidad de Chile or in another university, although I know that I would like to study it here in Santiago, but if it were not possible I think I could go abroad. And I also think that (if it gives me the body, mind and everything) I could even enter another career, like Theater or Plastic Arts, which are the ones that most attract my attention. Theater because since I was child I liked to act and participated in theater courses at my school and Plastic Arts, because I have always liked everything that refers to drawing and painting, I think it would be interesting to study some of these careers in the future (or both, although I see it impossible haha). I would like that if I take the classes full time, but if I have been working in that time it is most likely that it will be part time, I think.

And well that's it for today, I hope you have a good day bye!

MY FUTURE JOB

Hello everyone, today it's time to talk about what I would like to work on or what I would like to dedicate to the future. So, here we go.

Well, since I was child, I have always been attracted to art, however I thought that I would never have the opportunity to develop in that field and worse in a country where being an artist is not well regarded or well paid. However, today I think differently, and having entered a career (design) that is a bit closer to the artistic field makes me really think about wanting to dedicate myself later on when it comes to illustration, drawing or sketching. Specifically, I do not know in which area I could work (if in magazines, logos, posters, my own SME, I do not know), I only know that I want it to be where I can develop through drawing; And I also don't care how I will do it, if it is digital, traditional, in large or small formats, outside the country, etc., as long as I can express myself I think the rest does not matter to me.

However, I still think that I have as my idea of a "perfect" job and life, and that would be like me (in my 30s) drawing on my computer from my home, calm, quite tired (I imagine not sleeping for days working) but happy. Now, that's what I say today, the truth is, I don't know what will happen in the future, I'm quite insecure. But somehow I think I'm sure at least the idea of the future that I want is really what I want, I don't think that from day to morning it will make me want to be an engineer, an architect or not haha.

Well I hope you had fun reading this. See you!

THE BEST HOLIDAYS EVER

I think that one of my best vacations was when I went to Temuco and Coñaripe for a four days with my mom in February 2016. And I feel it was one of the best trips since it was all quite and relaxing. In the first place, we flew to the Araucanía airport, and I remember when we landed we had a little problem with our suitcases, I think they had been lost or they had ended up on another flight; we recovered them anyway. Then we looked for a stay, which was a little bit hard to do because we didn't know nothing about Temuco. And when finally we find (I don't remember the specific place) we went to tour the site a bit. We walked through a large park, we went to eat (in a restaurant that had very great food, it was called Premium if I'm not wrong) and we also looked for activities to do. So we met a tour guide who recommended us to visit some hot springs in Coñaripe. The idea liked us, so we decided go. We made the trip by bus, and then in a van. When we arrived, everything was very nice; there was a lot of nature (we were on a hill) and the water was great. But what I liked the most was a little walk that we took through a "forest" near the hot springs. Altought  I don't know whether to call it forest because I don't really know what it was, but it was magical. When we walked I remember it was in the afternoon and it was not so hot, there were streams and the grass was up to our knees. It was nice  and I think it was the only thing I took a picture of. After the walk we went to bathe in the hot springs and then we returned to Temuco (we stayed only for the day).

When we returned we spent the last moments of our Holidays walking around the place and buying one that another thing. And finally two days later we returned to Santiago by plane, thus ending our rest.
I know it was a trip of a few days but I had a great time, it was all very relaxing.

That's all, bye.

A PHOTOGRAPH

Hello everyone today I want to talk about my favorite photo and first of all sorry for its poor quality! But I didn't find it in better resolution. Well the thing is, it was December 2015 and I was with my family on the beach (I don't remember exactly which beach), and since my parents are quite busy and have almost no time due to work, the stay was only one day.
I remember well that it was Christmas and that it was a good time, for me they were happy days. The truth is that we don't like going into the sea, so we spent the afternoon lying on the sand and watching the waves. Our dog was also there and as he is playful he ran, jumped and barked all over the place. I dedicated myself to taking many photos in a good time and went there when I captured this moment when my mom was playing with him, and I really like it because I feel that they reflect calm and happiness on their faces in a such free place, relaxed and without worries. They are the most important thing in my life and seeing them like that gives me peace, it makes me want to go back to those days. And for last I must add that I love the way my dog posed (he is very vain haha).

And well that's it for today, Goodbye!
